Game 6 didn't go the way Mickael Pietrus had hoped, but the Celtics' loss did little to rattle the happy-go-lucky veteran.
That's because Pietrus is ready for Game 7, and as he put it, good things happen when you stay positive. So while it would have been easy for Pietrus to hang his head following the Heat's 98-79 victory on Thursday, he was more focused on turning the page.
"Saturday is going to be a great day for us," Pietrus said. "We have to wake up with a big smile. It's what they call Game 7. Be excited about it. Life is short, you have to enjoy it. So we'll have to enjoy Saturday."
A win will be necessary for the Celtics to truly enjoy all of Saturday, as the winner of that tilt will move on to face the Oklahoma City Thunder in the NBA Finals, while the loser goes home for the summer. And going home would mean Pietrus would need to find some other ways to spend his days, and that's just something he doesn't want to do.
"I'm not interested in going fishing. I'm not a big fishing guy," Pietrus said. "I'm more of an OKC guy."
Check out the video above to hear more from Pietrus.
