Avery Bradley to Have Surgery on Right Shoulder, Could Miss Start of Next Season for CelticsOne offseason shoulder surgery for Celtics guard Avery Bradley appears to not be enough. It's going to take two to get him in shape for next year.

Surgery on Bradley's right shoulder, scheduled for Tuesday, may keep him sidelined into the beginning of next season, Celtics director of player personnel Austin Ainge said Sunday, as reported by ESPN.

Bradley has already had surgery on his left shoulder — the more troublesome one, which he dislocated several times last season — and had to wait to heal before the right shoulder could get attention, too.

Bradley could recover quickly, but Celtics management is being cautious with projections.

"It could be early in the season. It could be mid-December," coach Doc Rivers told the Boston Herald. "We're just not sure."

The Celtics have already picked up some help at the guard position, signing former Mavericks veteran Jason Terry. They are also reportedly in talks to sign free agent Courtney Lee, who last played with the Rockets.
