July is an exciting month for Major League Baseball. As the trade deadline looms at the end of the month, it's hard not to be excited and anxious when hearing trade rumors involving your ball club. But how does it feel if it's your name involved in those trade rumors?
Carl Crawford said that he is "still surprised" by rumors that he could be traded to the Miami Marlins for Hanley Ramirez. When asked about how he likes playing for the Red Sox, Crawford said that Boston is "the best place to play."
Crawford, who has finally returned to the Red Sox' starting lineup after battling injuries, has gone 4-for-7 over his last two starts, scoring four runs and stealing three bases.
