As Cody Ross rounded third base after his walk-off home run on Thursday night, the Red Sox were there to greet with him hugs and cheers. But Nick Punto took on his alter ego during the celebration and was intent on making the moment one to remember.
Punto, who has been nicknamed "The Shredder" for his role in past walk-off wins, has made quite an impact on his teammate, enough so to get a special reference in Ross' postgame address.
