Report: Anibal Sanchez, Omar Infante Traded to Tigers for Jacob Turner, ProspectsAnibal Sanchez will not be reunited with the Boston Red Sox, it appears.

The Tigers are closing in on a deal with the Marlins for the 28-year-old pitcher and Omar Infante, according to MLB.com, in exchange for a group of prospects, including pitcher Jacob Turner. The teams are expected to make the trade official at 7 p.m. once all the players involved are notified of the deal.

Sanchez is 5-7 with a 3.94 ERA this season, and was one of the more active names being bandied about in trade talks. The Red Sox were reportedly interested in the righty, but the Tigers now appear to be on their way to bolstering their first-place rotation.

The Marlins are also reportedly receiving Rob Brantley, Brian Flynn and a sandwich pick in next year's draft. Miami may not be done dealing, either. They are said to be listening to offers for any of their players, excluding Giancarlo Stanton.
