Shawn Thornton is always ready and willing to give back to the community, and he'll be doing so once again at the Dr. Bob Harney Fun Run, Walk or Roll on Saturday, Aug. 18.

You also have an opportunity to get involved alongside the Bruins forward, who will be joined by Mike Eruzione and other past Bruins greats. The event, which will be held rain or shine at Revere Beach, is a collaborative effort to raise awareness and funds for the Cardiology, Orthopedic and Sports Medicine programs at Hallmark Health System and the Boston Bruins Foundation.
