Red Sox Picnic in the Park Provides Fun, Raises Funds for Good Cause (Video)

The Red Sox annual Picnic in the Park is a truly unique event.

Not only is it a chance to actually roam around, set up a blanket and have a picnic in the shadow of the Green Monster, but the entire occasion has a very family-friendly feel. Additionally, the event features autographs from every coach and player on the Sox, live music and silent auctions to raise money for charity — the Red Sox Foundation, specifically.

Check out the video above to see how the 2012 edition went.

Aetna Strikeouts for A Cause

For every strikeout by a Red Sox pitcher at Fenway Park in June, Aetna will donate $250 to Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program. Through June 25, the donation mark stands at $30,000.

Through their continued efforts in the local community, Aetna is helping to build a healthier world -- one city and one strikeout at a time.
