Alfredo Aceves’ Track Record of Behavioral Issues Bubbling Up for Red Sox (Video)

Just to recap, Alfredo Aceves was involved in three separate bizarre incidents in one inning alone Saturday — and that was before the dugout altercation.

Somewhere between uncoordinated pickoff plays at second, refusing to exchange a baseball with an umpire and going after a pop fly that was clearly not his play, it seems reasonable to question Aceves' mindset.

Well, the Red Sox aren't the first team to discover that the right-hander has an ornery side. As The Boston Globe's Peter Abraham points out, that fire can sometimes be a good thing. Lately, however, it's been nothing but another distraction in a season full of distractions for the Red Sox.

Check out the video above to hear everything Abraham had to say before Sunday's game.

Aetna Strikeouts for A Cause

For every strikeout by a Red Sox pitcher at Fenway Park in June, Aetna will donate $250 to Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program. Through June 25, the donation mark stands at $30,000.

Through their continued efforts in the local community, Aetna is helping to build a healthier world -- one city and one strikeout at a time.
