Daisuke Matsuzaka has been awful in his last two starts for the Red Sox. Everyone knows it, including himself.
Matsuzaka left Saturday night's start against the Toronto
Blue Jays after just 1 1/3 innings, allowing five runs on five hits and picking
up his fifth loss of the season.
Matsuzaka also had trouble against the Oakland Athletics on
Sept. 2, when he gave up six runs over 3 2/3 innings of work. He has lasted a
total of five innings in September and has a staggering 19.80 ERA. He's now 1-5 on the year with a very unimpressive 7.20 ERA.
Matsuzaka talked about his recent struggles on Clubhouse Uncut after Saturday's short outing. Check out the video above to see what he had to say.
