Mario Chalmers Doesn't Think Rajon Rondo Is Best Point Guard in NBA, But He'll Put Himself in Top 10Mario Chalmers
has let the world know plenty of times that he thinks he's pretty good.

The way he makes it sound, he was the Heat's missing link — the thing that got the pack of All-Stars over the top and finally hoisting the Larry O'Brien trophy.

LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh? Part of the team, but just as much a part of the team as Chalmers, who should be listed as among the best as he enters his fifth season in the NBA.

For those who missed Chalmers' bravado following the Heat winning the NBA title last year, no worries: He's got some more. Chalmers now wants everyone to know he is "in the front end of the top 10" of NBA point guards, according to Peter Emerick of bleacherreport.com.

Chalmers quickly ticked off the point guards he thinks are the best in the league — Deron Williams, Chris Paul, Steve Nash — but only when asked if he thought Rajon Rondo was No. 1, as Rondo has proclaimed. Chalmers was happy to admit the Celtics point guard was "in the top five" — but then did a quick spin move and put himself there, too.

"There are a lot of great guards in the NBA, so for [Rondo] to say he's the best is a pretty bold statement," Chalmers said.

Uh, for you to say you're in the top five is a pretty bold statement, Mario.

At this point, we should probably provide a list of Chalmers' accomplishments and how he compares to other point guards across the league. But we're not going to. Because. He's. Mario. Chalmers.
