The Yankees are heading to the playoffs, and the Red Sox are not. We've known that much for a while now, and these days, all that is left to determine is where the Yankees exactly fit into the playoff picture.

With a win on Wednesday, the Yankees will have the best record in the American League. With a loss, well, that's when things get a little more interesting … and that's where the Sox can come in.
