David Krejci Says Gary Bettman Treats NHL Players Like Animals, Calls Commissioner 'Shame'David Krejci doesn't sound like a huge fan of NHL commissioner Gary Bettman, especially in the midst of the latest NHL lockout.

The Bruins center, who is waiting out the league's most recent lockout (the third in 20 years) in Europe, has fired shots at Bettman. In doing so, Krejci joins the growing list of NHL players who have come out and publicly criticized the commissioner.

"We want to play, we're the ones who are doing the show in the NHL, but Bettman thinks it makes him," Krejci said in an interview with a Czech media outlet, according to ProHockeyTalk.com. "It is unfortunate that the NHL have such a guy. It's a shame for the entire hockey world. Treats us like animals."

According to a Google Translate version of the story, Krejci also called the situation "very frustrating," saying that he expects the lockout to extend "at least until Christmas."

It's unclear whether or not Krejci is still bent out of shape by this whole ordeal.

Krejci has three goals and four assists in seven games with Pardubice HC.
