Rajon Rondo Explains Unique Style, Why He Is Best Point Guard in NBA in Boston Common MagazineRajon Rondo has worn some pretty strange outfits in his time in the NBA but, much like Benjamin Franklin flying a kite in a lightning storm, that comes as a result of him simply being smarter than us.

The Celtics' stylish point guard appeared on the cover of this week's Boston Common magazine in a sharp Calvin Klein suit as he discussed just how confident he is in his game — both on the court and off.

In the interview, Rondo reveals that he is the best-dressed member of the organization — management and coaching included.

"Some guys will just wear anything," Rondo told the magazine. "But I really care about my appearance."

He doesn't stop with best-dressed, however. Rondo also said one more time who he thinks is the best point guard in the NBA.

"In some areas, some guys might be better than me, but overall, if you lay it all out, I think I am the best," he said. "Some fans look at a point guard and say he had 26 points, seven
assists, and eight rebounds, and they'll say he had a great game. But
there is a lot of talent in the NBA, and eventually that talent catches
up with you.

"The mental game is where it's at. I would say the game is
80 percent mental and 20 percent physical, for me at least. What
separates great players from good ones is performing consistently. I can
dominate the game in any number of ways, not just with the numbers."

Rondo also explains that his grasp of the offense is so advanced that should coach Doc Rivers be ejected or suspended, he would be able to run the team for the rest of the game.

"There is so much more going on that you take for granted on any given
night, and there are only so many guys who can run a team when you don't
have a coach," he said. "In that category I think I am the best at what I do."

So, while he may occaisonally get caught up in fashion during the summer months — like when he took an internship at GQ during fashion week — when it's time to get down to business, he's just that: all business.
