Rex Ryan Says 'Never Say Never' to Idea of Bringing Terrell Owens to JetsRex Ryan
didn’t say that the Jets would love to add Terrell Owens to an already depleted receiving corps, but he certainly didn’t rule it out either.

The veteran wide receiver, in a seemingly desperate plea for work, took to Twitter on Monday night as the Jets were in the process of losing to the Houston Texans.

“Hey JETS!!! I’m available! I’m ready, willing & able!” Owens tweeted Monday night, while also asking the club to call his agent in order to “make it happen.”

Ryan had a chance to squash any ideas of bringing the enigmatic Owens into an already entertaining circus, but he did no such thing on a conference call on Tuesday.

Again, that’s not a yes, but it’s certainly not a no either.

The 38-year-old Owens has already been cut by one team this season. He was cut by the Seattle Seahawks on Aug. 26 after an unspectacular showing in the preseason.
