Bill Parcells‘ football resume is long and illustrious, but it’s the stories beyond the accolades that separated The Big Tuna from the rest of the NFL’s head coaches.

Whether it was being candid on the record or sharing some personal stories off the record, Parcells was the dream coach for many members of the media. You simply never quite knew what you were going to get from the legendary coach in terms of quotes.

Now, Parcells is still sharing his thoughts about the league, which makes it a good time to look back at what he meant to the NFL during his time around the game.
