Larry Lucchino Says Red Sox Have Something to Prove in 2013 (Video)

Even after a disappointing, 93-loss season, the Red Sox’ front office is optimistic heading into 2013.

Larry Lucchino came out for the team’s annual Christmas at Fenway festivities on Saturday, when ticket packages for the next season first go on sale, and he was feeling good about the club’s winning history. He said the team’s talented core of veterans and rising stars will keep fans happy and in the stands.

With the 2012 winter meetings just beginning, the Sox’ front office has plenty of time to make more key acquisitions.

Watch the video above to hear what Lucchino had to say as he sat down with Jerry Remy and Tom Caron.

Aetna Strikeouts for A Cause

For every strikeout by a Red Sox pitcher at Fenway Park in June, Aetna will donate $250 to Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program. Through June 25, the donation mark stands at $30,000.

Through their continued efforts in the local community, Aetna is helping to build a healthier world -- one city and one strikeout at a time.
