The NHL lockout has continued into December, and hockey fans — and players — are still restless not knowing whether to end their dreams of a season or hold out hope for a partial schedule and the end of the torture.
On Tuesday, the players and owners will meet together to rekindle CBA discussions without the leading representatives from each side. Bruins owner Jeremy Jacobs and Penguins captain Sidney Crosby will be among those in New York for the meeting, while Gary Bettman and Donald Fehr will not be in attendance.
One player excited about the talks is Milan Lucic, who spoke about his wishful thinking about the discussions while in attendance at a charity event on Monday night. Sportsnet’s John Shannon also joined NESN Daily to discuss the potential impact that the meetings could have. Check out the video above for more.
