If anyone knows how the Patriots’ locker room gets hours before kickoff in Week 17, it’s three-time Super Bowl champion Matt Chatham. The former Patriots linebacker says that rather than spending that time monitoring the rest of the league, the team should be getting prepared to go all out against the Dolphins.
Chatham said the Patriots will be able to watch the 1 p.m. games until an hour before game time. While Tom Brady and the rest of the Pats may not know what’s going on in the Texans’ or Ravens’ games, the coaches will, and they’ll adapt as necessary before game time.
Regardless of the outcome of the 1 p.m. games, Chatham thinks the young New England team should be going all out against the Dolphins. Young teams have a tendency to feed off momentum, he said.
