Brad Marchand Says Bruins’ Legs Should Be Fresh for Second Game of Back-to-Back (Video)

It’s no secret that this year the NHL is playing a condensed schedule, and on Tuesday night the Bruins get their first major endurance test, playing at the TD Garden against the Devils a night after beating the Hurricanes in Carolina.

However, according to Brad Marchand, the Bruins have had plenty of time off with the NHL lockout, and thus their legs should be fresh — even on the second end of back-to-back games. Marchand spoke to NESN’s Naoko Funayama about that and coach Claude Julien‘s propensity to roll four lines with near-equal ice time throughout the course of a game.

Check out Marchand’s pregame interview with Bruins Face-Off Live in the video above.
