The Winnipeg Jets have just 11 points this season, but that’s not evident in the way they play against the Bruins. Sunday’s matchup was another tight battle, with Brad Marchand‘s power-play goal just 36 seconds into the third period proving to be the game-winner in a 3-2 Boston victory.
Marchand navigated through the Winnipeg defense and employed a nifty backhand shot to send the puck past Jets goalie Ondrej Pavelec. It was the eighth goal of the year for the feisty winger, who has twice as many tallies as any other Bruin this season.
