With the Senators’ noted defense, it figured that the Bruins would have to slog one out for a win on Thursday.
That’s exactly the kind of game it turned out to be, as scoring turned out to be at a premium in Boston’s 2-1 win. However, coach Claude Julien wasn’t pleased with all aspects of the Bruins’ effort, noting that the legs looked perhaps just a little bit tired on the first game back to the TD garden after a five-game road swing.
