After five innings of work, Felix Doubront‘s 2013 debut began the way most of his 2012 season went. Although the left-hander pitched reasonably well on the day — yielding three runs and notching six strikeouts — by the end of the fifth inning his pitch count had ballooned and Doubront would be pulled from the game.

Nonetheless, the sophomore says he feels good physically, and though his first start of the 2013 season was a bit of a mixed bag, he’s already focused on his second trip out to the hill in five days. Check out everything Doubront had to say after the game in Captain Morgan Clubhouse Uncut.

Aetna Strikeouts for A Cause

For every strikeout by a Red Sox pitcher at Fenway Park in June, Aetna will donate $250 to Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program. Through June 25, the donation mark stands at $30,000.

Through their continued efforts in the local community, Aetna is helping to build a healthier world -- one city and one strikeout at a time.
