The Bruins and Sabres combined for 97 shots Tuesday night, and it felt like Tyler Seguin was responsible for about half of them. In reality, the Bruins forward only had 12 shots to his name, but that aggressive play is certainly a positive indicator given the team’s recent offensive slump.
Seguin scored once, Nathan Horton and David Krejci added goals of their own and Anton Khudobin was spectacular in net for the Bruins on a night they needed to come out firing. That’s exactly what they did, and then they never looked back while continuing to push on against a defensive-minded Ottawa team.
NESN Nation’s Dan Duquette is awarding Seguin our “Tremendous Tempo” player of the game. Who’s yours?
