Dustin Pedroia Continues Month-Long Tear With Three-Hit Night at Yankee Stadium (Video)

The Red Sox totaled eight hits Friday night against the Yankees, and Dustin Pedroia had nearly half of them.

The second baseman went 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles and a run scored in Boston’s 4-1 loss at Yankee Stadium, continuing a trend that has lasted throughout the month of May. In 30 games this month, Pedroia is hitting a team-leading .336 with 10 doubles, three homers and 18 RBIs for a Sox club that ranks first in the majors in run production.

Aetna Strikeouts for A Cause

For every strikeout by a Red Sox pitcher at Fenway Park in June, Aetna will donate $250 to Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program. Through June 25, the donation mark stands at $30,000.

Through their continued efforts in the local community, Aetna is helping to build a healthier world -- one city and one strikeout at a time.
