Red Sox lefty Jon Lester stumbled for the first time this season on Monday night against the White Sox, suffering his first lost since Sept. 26, 2012. Lester allowed six Chicago runs (five earned) on seven hits and three walks over six innings in the Red Sox’ 6-4 loss.
The Sox had to try and claw their way out of a 3-0 hole after the first inning, and Lester chalks his struggles up to the fact that he’s never played well against the White Sox.
Hear what else Lester had to say in the video above, or check it out on NESN’s YouTube channel.
