“Thank you, Kessel,” turned into “Thank you, Seguin” for fans of the Maple Leafs on Saturday night.
Phil Kessel scored the game-winning goal for Toronto midway through the third period, and the Leafs held off a late rally by the Bruins to even up the series at one game apiece. The man Kessel was traded for, Tyler Seguin, also played a great game, but came up empty in terms of goals — things the Bruins sorely lacked despite a bevvy of opportunities.
Still, NESN Nation’s Dan Duquette is awarding Seguin our “See-Saw Series” player of the game award after the loss. Who gets yours?
