Bruins ‘Confident’ Coming Back Home for Game 6, Will Draw on Previous Stanley Cup Final Experience (VIdeo)

The Bruins dropped a crucial Game 5 in Chicago on Saturday night, and now the series heads back to Boston.

The Blackhawks outlasted the Bruins 3-1 to take a 3-2 game lead heading into Game 6. Both teams lost key players to injuries during the second period of Game 5. The Blackhawks’ Jonathan Toews missed the entire third period and the Bruins’ Patrice Bergeron was taken to the hospital following his injury.

The B’s have been in this position before — down three games to two in the Stanley Cup Final — and while that’s no guarantee of success, the team will look to draw on that experience.

Watch the video above to hear what center Rich Peverley had to say after Game 5 about his team’s mentality heading back to Boston.
