The NHL season may be over, but the jobs of the Bruins’ higher-ups are not getting any easier.
Team president Cam Neely and general manager Peter Chiarelli must now decide which free agents to re-sign and which to let go in order to comply with the league’s new salary cap restrictions. Jaromir Jagr, Andrew Ference and Jay Padolofo have already been notified that their contracts will not be renewed, but those moves may be just the beginning of what looks to be a busy offseason for the Bruins.
