Jon Lester’s Rough Start Comes at Inopportune Time for Red Sox in More Ways Than One (Video)

The Red Sox were hoping that Jon Lester would be able to go deep in Tuesday night’s game. Instead, it was the Rays batters who went deep, unfortunately.

Lester walked seven batters and surrendered three home runs in a start he’s not likely to dwell on for long. Unfortunately, it continues a rough stretch for him that spans beyond this one outing. Hopefully, it’s not one that keeps spanning future starts.

Aetna Strikeouts for A Cause

For every strikeout by a Red Sox pitcher at Fenway Park in June, Aetna will donate $250 to Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program. Through their continued efforts in the local community, Aetna is helping to build a healthier world -- one city and one strikeout at a time.
