Jacoby Ellsbury’s Hot Feet Have Boosted Red Sox’ Offense (Video)

The Red Sox have stolen 63 bases so far in the 2013 season. Jacoby Ellsbury has stolen 32 of those.

The outfielder’s hot bat and even hotter feet have set the table for the Sox’ offense and allowed David Ortiz and Mike Napoli to drive in runs. Stolen bases are an underrated part of the Sox’ success, and Ellsbury will do well to continue his fearless baserunning in the second half of the season.

NESN Nation’s Alison Smith talks about what makes Ellsbury so impressive in the video above.

Aetna Strikeouts for A Cause

For every strikeout by a Red Sox pitcher at Fenway Park in June, Aetna will donate $250 to Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program. Through June 25, the donation mark stands at $30,000.

Through their continued efforts in the local community, Aetna is helping to build a healthier world -- one city and one strikeout at a time.
