Between the stellar starting pitching, timely hitting, and sharp defense, the Red Sox seem to be playing great team baseball heading into the All-Star break. WEEI’s Mike Salk and Rob Bradford debated on NESN Sports Today about who should be crowned the Red Sox mid-season MVP. Salk chose slugger David Ortiz, while Bradford sided with right-hander John Lackey.
