John Lackey Says Goal Is for Team to Win Games, Not Concerned About Individual Record (Video)

Despite John Lackey recording his 17th quality start of the season, he walked away with a no-decision Wednesday night after giving up three runs on seven hits in 7 1/3 innings of work.

The ND doesn’t mean much to the right-hander, however, as he was less concerned about his individual record and just happy the team was able to come away with a win after staging a late-inning comeback.

Check out what else Lackey had to say in the above video.

Aetna Strikeouts for A Cause

For every strikeout by a Red Sox pitcher at Fenway Park in June, Aetna will donate $250 to Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program. Through June 25, the donation mark stands at $30,000.

Through their continued efforts in the local community, Aetna is helping to build a healthier world -- one city and one strikeout at a time.
