All of New England (save for some of those western Connecticut folks) let out a collective, high-pitched shriek shortly before 4 p.m. Wednesday afternoon. That’s when Tom Brady was sent tumbling to the ground, grasping his knee, after taking a hit in 11-on-11 drills at Patriots training camp.
Crisis was quickly averted, though, when it was revealed a few hours later that Brady’s injury was nothing more than a minor strain. If you ask the Patriots players for their take on the injury scare, many would say that everyone may have overreacted just a bit.
A horde of reporters, including NESN’s Gary Striewski, did just that after Thursday’s practice. Hear what Brady’s teammates had to say in the video above.
