David Ortiz Feels Confident Going Into Postseason, Says ‘Now It’s All About Surviving’ (Video)

Their playoff berth has been clinched, homefield advantage has been secured, and the Red Sox’ regular season has officially come to a close.

David Ortiz and the rest of his teammates are ready to focus on the postseason, and they feel good about where they stand heading into October. Big Papi believes his team’s ability to “rise up to any occasion” will benefit them down the stretch, and he’s also been helping prepare the rookies for what’s to come, telling them to keep their game simple.

Check out what else Ortiz had to say about his team’s mindset going into the playoffs in the above video.

Aetna Strikeouts for A Cause

For every strikeout by a Red Sox pitcher at Fenway Park in June, Aetna will donate $250 to Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program. Through June 25, the donation mark stands at $30,000.

Through their continued efforts in the local community, Aetna is helping to build a healthier world -- one city and one strikeout at a time.
