Berkshire Bank Rewind: Chris Kelly’s Hockey Intelligence on Display As He Notches First Career Penalty-Shot Goal (Video)

Thanks in large part to a pair of shorthanded goals, the Bruins started off their season with a win over the Lightning.

One of those penalty shot goals came courtesy of Chris Kelly. Berkshire Bank Rewind went back to the first game of the season and got a better look at the beautiful shot, highlighting the alternate captain’s intelligence on the ice. Kelly read the play perfectly as Tampa Bay was making its way down the ice, and he was able to intercept a pass intended for Anders Lindback and notch the first goal of the night for the B’s.

Check out Kelly’s first penalty-shot goal of his career in the above video.
