Berkshire Bank Rewind: Stickless Jarome Iginla Foils Blue Jackets Power Play (Video)

You don’t have to have a stick to made an impact in the defensive zone.

Jarome Iginla was forced to kill a penalty without his tool of choice on Saturday when his stick snapped in half off a faceoff. The winger didn’t give up on the play, though, positioning his body to disrupt the Blue Jackets’ passing and shooting lanes until he had time to swing by the bench for a replacement.

Iginla’s persistence paid off, as he was able to feed Chris Kelly shortly after for a Bruins goal. See Andy Brickley‘s breakdown of the play in the Berkshire Bank Exciting Rewind above.
