The Red Sox’ magical season just continues to roll on, gaining traction with seemingly each day that passes.
Shane Victorino was the man behind the fireworks on Saturday night, launching a seventh-inning grand slam to propel the Red Sox past the Tigers, 5-2. On a team that is full of “superheroes” according to David Ortiz, the blast was almost expected of the right fielder.
NESN’s Jenny Dell caught up with Big Papi after the game, and in an interview full of compliments for his teammates, he relived Victorino’s clutch hit, aptly describing it as a “money play.”
