Bruins’ Breakout Play Leads to David Krejci’s Smooth Skate-to-Stick Move in Front of Net (Video)

The Bruins only recorded a handful of scoring chances in the first period against the Islanders, but the opportunities they did get mainly came as a result of their breakout play.

Starting with a couple of short passes in their own zone, the B’s jumped into the rush after Dougie Hamilton stepped in and took a pass from Jarome Iginla. The puck was then left for a streaking David Krejci who made a nice skate-to-stick play in front of the net, but was unable to light the lamp on his shot.
