Tuukka Rask was the first star of the Bruins’ 2-1 win over the Rangers on Tuesday night, but the effort from the team’s fourth line was also an important factor in the outcome.
Both of Boston’s goals, one from Shawn Thornton and the other by Daniel Paille, were created from the hard work by the fourth line. One of the reasons why the Bruins are among the elite teams in the NHL is that they can roll four lines against any opponent.
