As 2013 winds down, it’s time to recall some of the greatest moments from the past year, and for B’s fans, there are a couple huge ones that stand out.
The Bruins’ improbable and thrilling Game 7 comeback victory over the Toronto Maple Leafs in the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs is far and away one of the best memories of the year. Down 4-1 midway through the third period, the Bruins staged one of the most stunning rallies of the season, and Patrice Bergeron‘s overtime winner wasn’t just one of the best goals of the year, but one of the best of his career.
The B’s also underwent some changes in 2013, shipping Tyler Seguin to Dallas shortly after their season concluded. The move could have backfired on the B’s, but the brilliant play of Reilly Smith, alone, has proved that the trade was a beneficial one for both sides.
