Bruins Unable to Take Advantage of Henrik Sedin’s Stumble During Power Play in First Period (Video)

The Bruins showed great puck movement during a first period power play, but were ultimately unable to light the lamp during the man-advantage.

David Krejci, Zdeno Chara and Torey Krug combined for the solid effort, keeping the Canucks on their toes, and even sending Henrik Sedin to the ice, as the Canucks centerman stumbled near the blue line, but the B’s couldn’t take advantage of his spill.

The Bruins attempted to rifle off a one-timer with Sedin still down, but the timing was just off, and Vancouver would eventually go on to kill the penalty.

During the 2014-15 season, Berkshire Bank Foundation donated $200 to Habitat for Humanity for each successful penalty kill by the Bruins and raised $37,600 total.
