Injuries are nothing new to the Boston Bruins this season, but that doesn’t make them any easier to take when they happen.
That’s been the case in the loss of defensive anchor Dennis Seidenberg, who tore his ACL and MCL last weekend and is out for the rest of the season. He spoke Monday for the first time since his injury, and although his focus is on getting healthy for next season, the rest of the defensive corps is working hard now to make up for his absence.
Seidenberg’s presence on the ice will be difficult to replace, but Matt Bartowski and Kevan Miller hope to make their fellow defensemen proud with their play, saying they’ll take everything they’ve learned from the veteran and put it to good use.
