Boston Bruins center Chris Kelly returned to practice Thursday for the first time since fracturing his fibula in a Dec. 7 game against the Pittsburgh Penguins at TD Garden.
The veteran forward has tallied seven points (three goals, four assists) in 29 games this season. Ryan Spooner has filled in for Kelly in the third-line center spot and has played well, posting 11 points in 22 games.
