The Anaheim Ducks’ special teams dominated the Boston Bruins on Tuesday night, using three power-play goals to defeat the B’s 5-2 and remain undefeated in regulation at home.
The B’s struggled on the penalty kill but fought their way back into the game in the third period. After falling behind 3-0, the Bruins were one goal away from tying things up when Brad Marchand was whistled for interference while on the power play.
After the game, Claude Julien voiced his displeasure with the call, calling it a “bogus” penalty that took away all the momentum the B’s had generated in the third.
