Dougie Hamilton Credited For Bruins’ Goal Despite Deflection (Video)

The Boston Bruins trimmed the Montreal Canadiens’ lead to 2-1 in the first period of Thursday night’s game when David Krejci’s deflection of a Dougie Hamilton shot from the point found the back of the net.

The goal was credited to Hamilton a few minutes later even though there was some kind of deflection in front of the net, either by Krejci or Montreal defenseman Josh Gorges. It’s Hamilton’s first goal since he returned to the Bruins’ lineup on Jan. 25 following a recovery from a concussion.

Check out the video above and decide who you think the goal should have been awarded to in the latest edition of Bruins Fanalyst.
