Just months removed from the Red Sox celebrating their World Series championship at Fenway Park, another sport took over the ballpark.
This year’s Citi Frozen Fenway featured seven high school hockey games, two free community skate days for Boston residents and nine men and women’s college hockey games. The annual event hosts some of the best college hockey teams in the nation, but this year, they had a difficult time putting the “frozen” in Frozen Fenway.
The latest episode of Red Sox Report takes a look back at constructing the rink in December and battling the soggy weather conditions in January to ensure that they created the best playing atmosphere possible.
