Slapshot Classic: Grady Sizemore Goes Five-Hole During Competition (Video)

It’s been a while since Grady Sizemore played in a professional baseball game, but it’s been even longer since he played some hockey.

The 31-year-old outfielder showed some rust Tuesday night as he took his first five shots in the Slapshot Classic at Boston Red Sox spring training in Fort Myers, Fla., but he began to find his rhythm in his last few attempts. Sizemore became the first member of the Red Sox to score five-hole, earning him a hefty five points with only the one shot. He added one more corner shot to add another point, finishing with six on the day.

Check out Sizemore’s sharp shooting in the video above, and check out the overall standings below.

1. Jon Lester: 7 points

2. Grady Sizemore: 6 points

3. David Ross: 4 points

4. John Lackey: 2 points
