A seemingly dire situation for the Boston Bruins turned into one of their best goals of the night against the Vancouver Canucks.
While on the power play, Torey Krug and Milan Lucic collided in the neutral zone, which opened up the breakaway opportunity for Daniel Sedin. Tuukka Rask stood tall between the pipes, however, and turned his shot away. The Bruins then charged down to the other end of the ice and Jarome Iginla was able to fire the puck past Roberto Luongo to give the B’s a 2-0 lead in the second period.
