Clay Buchholz pitched very well in his second spring training start Sunday with no runs and zero hits allowed in three innings of work against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
The Red Sox veteran used all of his pitches effectively, including his two-seam fastball. He faced a total of nine batters and threw 27 pitches.
Boston defeated Pittsburgh 4-1.
