Grady Sizemore Provides Bright Spot In Red Sox’s Opening Day Loss (Video)

The Boston Red Sox dropped their season opener to the Baltimore Orioles 2-1 on Monday afternoon, but Grady Sizemore’s successful day at the plate certainly provided a bright spot in the loss.

The centerfielder, who was playing in his first regular-season game since 2011, wrote the next chapter in his comeback story as he singled in his first at-bat against the O’s and followed that up with a home run in the fourth inning — his first homer since July 15, 2011.

To make the feat even more impressive, Sizemore divulged after the game that his bat actually broke on the bomb.

Check out what else Sizemore had to say about his Red Sox debut in the video above.

Aetna Strikeouts for A Cause

For every strikeout by a Red Sox pitcher at Fenway Park in June, Aetna will donate $250 to Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program. Through June 25, the donation mark stands at $30,000.

Through their continued efforts in the local community, Aetna is helping to build a healthier world -- one city and one strikeout at a time.
